Summer Reading Program Birth - 6th Grade

• Beginning June 9, come to the Morton Grove Public Library Youth Services to verify the information on your child’s pre-registration form. Your child will then receive their free t-shirt and a bag of goodies.

• Each week, for eight weeks, your child can come back and tell us about the book(s) they have been reading. Every week will feature a game with prizes as well as a raffle.

• At the conclusion of the program, those completing at least six weeks will be invited to a “Pool Party” with their families and will receive our “Big Ticket Book” filled with free coupons to restaurants, museums and many other fun places to go and visit!

Teen Reading Program - Going into 7th Grade

Mission: Possible!
Morton Grove Public Library
Summer Library Challenge for Teens and Adults
June 1 – August 3

The Morton Grove Public Library is challenging you to complete three kinds of missions this summer! Here’s how the Library Challenge works:

Sign up for the challenge at the Reference Services Desk
You will receive:
• two lawn passes to Ravinia Music Festival while supplies last. (The lawn passes may be upgraded at Ravinia to available reserved seating on payment of the difference in price between reserved seats and lawn passes.)
• coupons to use at Subway of Morton Grove
• mission log
• comment forms (that double as entries for the Grand Prize Drawing)

Complete four missions and choose a prize.
A mission can be: reading a book, listening to an audiobook, attending a program (film, concert, book discussion), playing a video game, watching a DVD, listening to a CD.

Fill in a brief comment form for each mission that you complete and turn in the form to the Reference Services Desk. The top part of the form is your entry for the drawing for one of three Grand Prizes. The bottom part of the form will become part of a mission report of anonymous comments and recommendations that will be on display.

All entries must be received by 6 pm, Friday, August 3, 2007.
